Currently, I am teaching in a room with white walls and blank bulletin boards so funding this project will help students feel comfortable and safe when they return to the classroom. I am a first year teacher so I do not have a lot of the foundational items necessary for maintaining a neat, organized, and effective classroom. The items in this project are intended to create a welcoming environment and a safe environment. I intend to have heightened cleaning protocols after each class period so there are cleaning materials on the list. I hope to inspire my students to want the best for themselves so there are inspirational posters on the list. By funding this project, you are helping to brighten a room where students will become world-ready learners who know where they are going and what to do next. The items in this list are intended to help my students feel safe while learning and inspired to fulfill their best potential every day.
