As a teacher of 24 years, I have found that when kids can actually write their thoughts and do a careful reading by leaving their "footprints" in the book, the story stays with them forever. This will enable our students to write their thoughts and impressions directly in the book for our discussions both in class and via Zoom. This is a book that teaches a different perspective, and one that needs to stay forever on their bookshelves with their thoughts in the margins so that they never forget our history.

About my class
