Last year, the ELA department decided to begin each school year with a strategic reading unit focused on helping students improve reading level, build stamina and focus when reading, and develop a love for reading both fiction and non-fiction works. This September, we will be launching the strategic reading unit in an entirely new way. For my students who struggle more, the Guided Reading Collection will help tremendously in small groups and one-to-one tutoring. Mahogany Books will help to diversify our book club station time during guiding reading. TpT has amazing resources for guided reading lessons, and once downloaded, I will have access to them for years to come to help my future students, too! The wholesale earbuds are for students to use with myON and other digital reading applications at home or in school, and other supplies are to maintain a safe learning environment while I teach students in person this fall. These additional supplies include Kleenex, hand sanitizers, and alcohol wipes. Help me to maintain a safe learning environment as we launch our reading unit this school year! Thank you so much!
