If you choose to fund my project, you will help me ensure that each student can participate in hands on, comprehensive speech and language therapy without compromising safety. Children learn best when they are engaged in multi-sensory activities. During Speech therapy, students are not only practicing sounds, they are also tracing letters or writing words that have their sound in it. In Language therapy, students may be cutting out pictures and gluing them next to the correct definition. The supplies in this project will provide students with their own personal activity bag for therapy. Each student's bag will contain their own crayons/colored pencils, pencils, sharpener, glue stick, folder, and scissors. My students will be able to speak, read, write, and create while practicing speech and language skills. This multi-sensory work provides thorough and faster progress with their communication skills. We use these materials daily and usually share at the table. Due to COVID-19, students are unable to share any school supplies or activities. Your help would be greatly appreciated!!
