Because of the Covid-19 crisis, many families have chosen to start the school year online. About half of my students, around 70, will be learning from home for the first nine weeks. With your help, I can send home art supplies to my online learners so that they can learn, play, and create. Making art brings joy, can help kids feel pride in their accomplishments, and can aid sensory and emotional regulation. I've chosen materials that I know my students will be excited to work with: colored pencils, markers, and play-doh. Having these art supplies at home will help my students cope, help them express themselves, and bring some joy to their hearts.
