My students are already faced with many challenges in their lives. Presently our nation and the world is experiencing profound changes. As a consequence, my students will now have to stay home and learn virtually which is a big challenge within itself. At this moment many of my students and their families are facing even more economic disadvantages. By providing my classroom with these tools and materials requested, it will help at least bring some type of relief in the area of education. My students will get a fair chance to have all the basic necessities to learn and complete activities online and from home. All materials and tools will be used to interactively and independently participate in lessons or complete assignments. The journals will be used for responding to reading, writing, math or other common core lessons. The whiteboards will also be used as interactive response boards during many of my lessons. The whiteboards will maintain an higher interest by providing variety in our lessons and a way to quickly assess my student's learning. The cubes will provide hands on tools so that my first graders will be able to learn basic number concepts. The pencil pouches will help my students keep the rest of their basic materials organized so they can quickly have access to them when needed. Please help us by providing the requested donation so that my students can have equal access to all educational materials or tools needed and in turn achieve academic success.
