I have a traditional high school classroom with 30 desks and a whiteboard. I teach 6 sections and I have a set of 30 chromebooks so that all students have access to technology and can engage in teacher created math games and discussions and higher order thinking using online tools to enable them to practice and hone their math skills. To keep myself and my kids safe we need the ability to sanitize desks and computers in between each use and we need a purifier to improve conditions in a stuffy room with no windows and nowhere for students to distance. The purifier gives confidence that, with masks, we can do this year without compromising the health of my 190 students and my own health! I have an autoimmune disease and am concerned that with every cough, every sneeze all of our focus will shift from our difficult mathematics course to what is spreading in the room. Help give my students the confidence that they are safe in my room and have nothing to fear while at school this year!
