I am in desperate need of a good classroom rug large enough for all my students, due to us spending a great deal of learning time/activities together on the hard floor up by the Smartboard. We do whole group math and reading lessons throughout the day on the floor gathered together, as this is a great way to keep my students' attention. We do our whiteboard work on the floor together practicing spelling also. This will not only give them more comfortable/organized seating but will serve as an excellent way to help them gain knowledge of their colors and shapes!
