Using a sketchbook is likely the most important practice artists use, including the student-artists in my Art 1, Art 2, and Art 3 classes. In these classes, students use sketchbooks to take notes and develop their creative ideas. By donating to my cause, you will give my students the ability to create their own sketchbooks using a binding machine and plastic binding combs. These materials will give these students ownership of their learning materials and I will be able to teach the processes used to create spiral bound sketchbooks. Furthermore, because this binding machine allows for the user to bind large amounts of paper together, my students will have lots of pages in their sketchbooks for their creative thoughts.
