This is used in a special spot in the classroom where the student can go at anytime when they are sad, frustrated, anxious, or if they need a few moments to themselves. There is material also in this corner that helps them work through their emotions that the teacher has taught at the beginning of the year. They are taught certain breaths they can take to calm, there are feeling buddies they can grab with different faces, books and fidget manipulative’s they can use! This also helps the teacher recognize that the student may need some extra attention or assistance.
