This carpet will allow seating in my classroom where more learning will take place. This will become a learning space and flexible seating for students when they do independent work. Students will benefit from collaborative discourse on the carpet during learning time. My students love being about to come to the front of the classroom to learn. They need the opportunity to learn in a comfortable setting. Students will learn the routine as well as instructional information sitting on the carpet in the front of the room. This carpet has different colors to allow students to stay organized in an assigned space. Students can clearly see numbers and letters on the edge of the carpet and can always use it as a recourse and reminder in their learning.
