In all of our lessons, students need to write. During science class, we conduct various lesson types, including labs, data analysis, note-taking, diagramming, graphing, and explanatory writing. In the past, I've been happy to loan pens and pencils to students in need. However, due to COVID, it will be more sanitary for students to keep the writing utensils instead of returning them at the end of the class period. This will also allow them to complete work at home since we will most likely be on a hybrid schedule. Pens and pencils along with a functioning pencil sharpener will allow students to be fully engaged in learning. Your donation will help my students have a successful year.
