A Swivl is a device that will help make hybrid and virtual learning a breeze for me and my students. A Swivl uses an iPad to track and record the teacher (or student) using sound. A Swivl will allow me to move freely around the classroom, utilizing the technology and manipulatives in my classroom without having to stay in one place. Virtual learning is new for all of us, and this tool will help the students feel like they are in the classroom. This tool will be especially helpful when we move into a hybrid learning model. With only half of my students in school each day, a Swivl will allow students to see and hear their classmates when they are learning from home.
