Teaching 12th grade, I do my best to prepare my students for college. One emphasis in class is on writing MLA formatted research papers so to prepare them to do just that in college. However, our school community shares laptops among the different classrooms which often makes things more difficult since there aren’t enough laptops to go around. Additionally, there have been breakthroughs in educational technology such as Peardeck and Padlet which enhances student learning, but is not possible unless each student in the class has a laptop they can use.
