I would like to offer children access to educational programs while in the nurse’s office. I do not have much room in my office therefore am only able to keep medical supplies. Educational books are not antiseptic friendly and I must maintain my office disinfected at all times. At times students must wait in my office for a number of hours or reasons. Having something to offer the students can be both fun, educational, and may even shorten their time spent waiting. Building a culture of health and wellness is important in keeping our students safe and well! Many times I go into the classroom to teach health awareness to the students and usually borrow the teachers’ technology. This iPad will help minimize lost time with all lessons loaded and ready to teach as I enter the classroom. In addition, it will be used by the students while visiting my nurse station using Health Apps while students are in my care. Thank you!
