Last year I brought yoga to my classroom. My students loved the breathing techniques, challenging balance poses, and being playful through yoga. This year we are in school, socially distanced and I think yoga mats would be a great way for students to maintain social distance, find a more meaningful yoga practice, and even have a flexible space to learn and do their work! We can roll out our mats for yoga or use them as a personal learning space outside! I have seen how yoga can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that providing each student with a yoga mat will only give them more success!
