These books will be used in seventh grade Utah studies course as a way for students to see a unique part of Utah's history and take a look at how it affected the people involved. This book will present the information about the Japanese Internment Camps in a graphic novel style, ensuring that students of all reading levels as well as English language learners have a chance to dive in to this unique and unappreciated aspect of Utah and American history. I hope that this book will help students to visualize an experience completely outside of their own and open their minds to new ways of thinking.
