We are building a library of diverse reading materials that reflect the population of our students. My goal is that students are inspired and encouraged to read more when authors and characters look like them and reflect their experiences. Since we are an Environmental Science School, we want to really help our older students gain a better understanding of equity and environmental justice. By creating a resource area that will contain books and project ideas we hope to equip them with the knowledge and enthusiasm to be change agents in their communities.
