This will be my first year teaching as a full-time teacher for high school English students. As part of my professional development, I am requesting funds to support the technologic resources and tools that I will need to successfully support my students during distance learning. Distance learning will be a large learning curve for everyone, but by equipping myself with the modern tools and resources I will be much more prepared and enabled to provide innovative, accessible instruction to my students. Teaching can be a lonely job, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. Through this professional development, I will learn how to incorporate modern technology into our work as we redesign curriculum and instruction through distanced learning.
