The Scholastic magazine will give my scholars the opportunity to read and learn about current news and events in a very engaging way. I am excited about the opportunity to incorporate the magazine in my day to day reading comprehension activities which will ultimately assist students with academic growth while reading and learning about the world they live in. The magazine also offers extension activities that can be assigned as needed to assist daily with small group or whole group instruction. I plan to use it for both my Language Arts and Social Studies students.
