These "conversations" help students to not only better understand and accept each other but also assist in building relationships with one another. These books will make my classroom library a place that highlights and celebrates people and cultures from around the world. Books have the power to bring people together. They can open the hearts and minds of students to the life experiences of other people. I hope the life lessons taught using these books will build empathy, encourage kindness, inspire acceptance, and promote the celebration of diversity in our classroom. As future leaders, they can share the message of kindness, empathy, and acceptance with others.
