I have several items on the list that don't necessarily go together to the normal mind but I want to tell how just how it will impact my littles. My students have not been in school for nearly 6 months- they will be anxious, afraid, and introverted; they need normalcy and I am hoping the choice of books on my list will help integrate the new 'normal' for them in this environment. The games will enrich the textbook lessons that are planned for them. I am hoping these specific games will engage them in ways they have yet to discover. Several kids in my class have attention issues, but they LOVE games. Last but not least, I have put organizing items on my list. My room is quite compact and I have supplies, instructional materials, and textbooks in every corner of the room. I fear that any type of clutter will distract from the curriculum and lessons the students so desperately need to focus on.
