The purpose of this project is to give each of my students an equitable start to the new school year. I plan to assemble individual toolkits with math and literacy manipulatives and deliver them to each child prior to the start of school. Many of these manipulatives will be used in conjunction with my virtual lessons to bring learning to life! My littlest learners will be much more engaged when they are able to use magnet letters to spell sight words, unfix cubes to make patterns, and counters to make numbers/mathematical equations. With your help, these toolkits will be a possibility. In addition, online instruction will also need to be supplemented with many new digital resources, which are available on Teachers Pay Teachers. Thank you for supporting my students as we take off on this virtual learning adventure together.
