Many of us have found connection and relief through physical activity in our lives. Now, more than ever, students need to build a collection of skills and strategies to help them feel comfortable, calm, and to decompress from pressures of school and life. Teaching the powerful art of yoga to young learners facilitates skills they can use in literally any place, and at any time to help regulate emotional and mental health. You can help equip my classroom with yoga mats for whole-class practice, and as needed for breaks during the school day.
