These sensory items will be used in the classroom for my students with Autism. We have a half-hour each day dedicated to sensory time, along with many 10 minute breaks throughout the day. We try to find objects that can be washed and kept free of germs! Objects will be put into the sensory tubs for them to find. With the alphabet tub, the students will build their name and sight words by finding the appropriate letters. They will get both sensory and academics with these wonderful washable sensory objects.
