About my class

We are all aware of the challenges currently facing the world during a global pandemic and educational challenges are certainly no exception. Remote learning took us by surprise in the Spring, but with some resources and the many hours, we educators have been investing to learn new technology, skills, and methods we will have the best opportunities and educational experiences we can at a distance. Traditionally, several hundred students share the 20 pianos available on our campus - this is not possible with remote learning. While the district has really focused on getting keyboards to all piano students, our Music Theory students, who make up a significantly smaller portion of the population, do not yet have a path to keyboard access. The use of a piano keyboard in the study of music theory is a priceless tool, and access to the tools needed to be successful help inspire students to feel the value of their education.
