These materials will be in a student's home for them to keep to use during their downtime. Many of these students have learned through lessons with the social worker and occupational therapist how and when to engage in mindfulness & calming activities. I want the students to have physical materials to access for calming in additional to tech/apps. I also want to continue to foster imaginative & structured play outside of screens within the homes (play-doh, games, & legos). These materials can be used individually or with family members! The students will work with the social worker virtually to be introduced (or reintroduced to the materials)!
