This will be an unprecedented year for all teachers and students. We will all need to make changes to accomodate our new norms for school. In kindergarten most supplies, materials, tools, and games are shared. Those shared items will need to be separated this year. The seat sacks requested will help students store supplies and tools need throughout the day. Another important thing needed this year will be ways to keep kindergarteners engaged at there seats all day. Fidget bands will help bodies stay busy while seated. Hands on manipulatives, like the magnetic ten frames and STEM activities, will keep students engaged while stationed in separate areas. Other items like numbered sit spots will aide in number sense while helping students stay socially distanced. Story books will help students learn about why changes are being made for a safe and successful year in kindergarten. Thank you for you support!
