The tools I am requesting are a document camera, Wacom slate tablet, extra pen, and an external microphone. Each of these tools will help benefit students by creating quality videos that will be the basis of instruction and tutorials for face to face and virtual students. In a face to face environment, students will be able to use the document camera to project their work on classroom activities to model for other students and also use the tablet to model working Algebra 2 problems for the rest of the class. Virtual learners will benefit from the videos that can be produced and made available in an online environment. Teachers also need to be prepared for a transition to a completely online environment for part of the year. As a high school math teacher, these tools will allow me to work through a variety of math problems, record lessons, and posting those lessons to a virtual classroom.
