Having an iPad for my students will provide them with a platform to learn through technology when we return back to the school building. There are so many applications I can use with them to support and aid in their communication skills, teach them new vocabulary, and work on life and social skills to make them a functional, independent communicator. Although my students have varying levels of skills, they have all displayed the ability to thrive when using technology. The iPad has an easy to clean surface to minimize the transfer of germs that I can quickly wipe clean between student use. I would love to have an iPad designated only for my students. Thank you!
