Science and social studies are often subjects that are left to be taught when "we have extra time." I believe this is because I've never had meaningful, age- appropriate books to go along with my science and social studies lessons. While these subjects are important, my students haven't truly been able to learn through the use of books. Please help me allow my students to learn science and social studies through the use of books they can understand and pictures they will enjoy. These books will allow my students to learn such a wide variety of topics. The teachers pay teachers gift card will allow me to purchase engaging lessons and activities to go with each topic. My students deserve to be able to dig deeper into their learning.
