We are back at school at 100%. I have 21 students in my classroom. I have to be creative in changing our normal ways of doing things. I have to rethink all of the procedures in our classroom to ensure the safety of my students. I would like to have magnets for my students' desks to limit travel to and from their backpacks. They will be able to hang their backpacks, lunchboxes, and earbuds on the side of their desk. The tissue boxes will allow each student to have a box at their seat to limit travel within the room. They will have everything they need right there. The dry erase boards will allow my students to show me and their classmates ideas they have. They can work out math problems and share with me even at a distance. The dividers will provide a shield for my students and myself to protect us from germs. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to provide digital resources to my students. My 3rd graders will be able to access these at any time which is crucial now. We could swap to distance learning at any time.
