An iPad is a versatile therapy tool that will enhance my therapy sessions and truly motivate my students. A iPad can be used to facilitate communication with speech generating apps, reinforce previously learned skills, provide stimulating activities to expand their language and so much more. With so many schools starting off the 20-21 year remotely due to Covid-19, it is more important than ever to utilize fun and engaging lessons to reach my students at home. With an iPad, I can utilize the majority of apps over Zoom offering a plethora of materials and lessons I can include in my sessions. I would be able to share my screen on the iPad, allowing my students to directly interact within the lessons/app, which is so important for learning new skills, and to increase their attention and motivation.
