While books on social inequity have historically not been a part of classrooms or curriculum, these books address important concepts that many students of color experience. Additionally, the content also helps equip students with frameworks and tools to understand the complex world around them. And impact positive change in their future. That can be utilized by those individuals who are affected by inequity the most and create discussion around issues which we no longer can ignore.

About my class
