My students love two things, books and flexible seating. Reading is one of the most important skills a child can develop. Having books of interest promotes more reading. With these new additions to our classroom library, my students can read independently when they are finished their work. Flexible seating gives students a sense of independence and control over their learning environment. Students spend so much time at school, when I allow them to pick their spot to learn they are so attentive! Flexible seating has increased my students' motivation to learn. Having a choice of book and seating is a win-win for my students! They are comfortable, engaged, and learning!
