The articles help with continued literacy in the areas of nonfiction which students tend to shy away from. This empowers students to feel confident in discussing current events not only with their peers but also with adults. This publication teaches them the value of good sources to back up debate arguments as well. Students need to understand the value of becoming lifelong learners.
