This will help my students to have a peace of mind showing up and knowing they have a place to charge their device. Our students use their iPads in every class, but don't have the chance to constantly charge them. This will make it possible to have a place for my students to charge their devices without interrupting their engagement, learning or having to remember to bring their charger to school (which is hard when families are sharing devices or chargers! These items will stay in my class and will be locked up each night to insure their existence remains in this class. We use iPads for looking up photos, researching artists, creating a socially distanced classroom, taking quizzes/tests, doing Kahoot! games, submitting work and doing Team meetings.
