My project will help kids use their imagination and socialize with their peers. All of my items can be used to improve students' social/emotional well-being by allowing them to pick an imaginative/free play activity and play with a peer. During COVID-19, most students did not have a peer around their age to play with and after play with parents/siblings. These games with help to give them more opportunities to socialize. My students are beginning communicators, and often struggle to get their point across, through use of play the students are able to effectively communicate via gesture and symbols.
