These Chromebooks will be used to teach my special education students how to access the digital world around them. In our high poverty, rural area my students’ parents are unable to provide technology and internet to use at home. My students lack basic computers skills and are unfamiliar with most online programs. After experiencing distance learning last spring and seeing my students struggle, this is a situation that desperately needs to be fixed. With budget cuts looming, our school simply cannot afford to supply my students with the tools to make them successful in a digital world.
