iPads have a million and one uses in the world now. I would like to use an iPad in my speech program to access the educational gaming apps to use with my students to help them stay engaged and feel like they are getting a break while learning. The school day is full of papers, writing and sitting still while listening to the teacher so why should speech be the same? I plan on using the iPad to make speech fun and have multiple different options available to the student to make their own choice that day on what we will do. I already picked out the apps to utilize in my program, I just need a device to use them on.
