In an attempt to provide social distancing and keep my school kids safe; each student will be given a mat to sit on throughout the day. The mats will be used by the students both inside and out. For example, with twenty-three students it will be difficult for each child to have a desk six feet apart. Therefore, students will utilize the mats by sitting on their personal assigned mat and will be able to have six feet of social distancing while in the classroom. In addition, students will take the mats outside during outside learning times. Our school is suggesting outside learning as much as possible. The opportunity of outside learning will allow time for classrooms to be disinfected during the school day. The mats will also be disinfected once during and after school.
