With school starting virtually for the fall semester, my biology students still need to engage in interactive instruction. The drawing tablet will allow for me to model, illustrate, and label things such as organelles of a cell, parts on a graph, and the location of invasive species on a map. Having the ability to record lessons and post them to our learning management system will be necessary and can be done with the help of the lapel microphone, tripod, and phone holder. Even though we will not be meeting in person, technology has provided us many resources to adapt our lessons to meet the needs of our students.
