Providing students with engaging writing material that can be put to use at home provides equitable resources for all students. A variety of writing materials and topics will help in promoting the love of writing. My aim is to provide a balanced literacy program even though my students and I can't be physically together to learn. Write and Wipe boards are an essential part of any classroom, engaging students while still having fun. They will use the boards to practice writing, letter sounds, numbers, and so much more. The color printer will allow me to make copies of materials that can be printed and laminated so that students can practice letter names and sounds, build critical thinking skills, develop sight word competency, and increase reading skills with materials purchased that can be adapted digitally. The notebooks will help the Writer's Workshop process run smoothly from day to day. The students will also have a schedule to help them know when writing workshop will take place. These notebooks will be uses as journals to help them destress by writing what they choose before school begins in order for them to focus on their academic success. By continuing to implement the Writer's Workshop model, my students will continue to see themselves as true authors and illustrators. We will use these materials to aid in the process of becoming lifelong writers. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
