My speech room will have kids from classrooms across the school campus, so keeping it as clean as possible will be vital! My goal is for each student to have his/her own plastic box of materials (box, folder, crayons, scissors) that can be easily sanitized to avoid sharing/spreading of germs. A touchless hand sanitizer dispenser would also limit the spread of germs! The spreading of germs will decrease if students have their own materials. My Title I students have difficulty learning at home, as some do not have the internet access they need to learn via technology. If we do everything we can to keep the kids healthy at school, then we can try to avoid having classrooms or the entire school sent home to quarantine due to exposure to COVID-19. My students and I would greatly appreciate any assistance given to keep them healthy and ready to learn in a safe environment!
