This welding rod oven will be used in class to store welding rods that need to be kept hot to weld in the best condition. A welding rod oven keeps the rods at the correct temperature and allows optimum welding. This will also allow students to weld with more types of rods, thus making them more prepared for industry jobs. This would also further align our program with industry standards, make our students more employable once graduated. This welding rod oven is a great way to further student knowledge and learning by providing more opportunities.
