Reading is necessary in every aspect of our lives. This means students who are struggling with reading will find many basic tasks daunting. Independent reading is one of the most important stations in the Read180 class. Students choose their own books to read during this time and keep track of what they have read. Having a classroom reading nook will help my students to have a comfortable and authentic space in which to read. Students will do what readers to - curl up in a cozy spot with a great book and read!

About my class
