Students will do an Osmosis egg lab. Students will put one egg in plain water and another egg in corn syrup, but before they put the eggs in plain water or corn syrup, they need to find the mass of the eggs. The electronic balances will allow the students to find the mass of the eggs quickly and easily. After soaking in water and corn syrup for one day, students will mass the eggs again. After soaking in water and corn syrup for a second day, students will mass the eggs for a third time. The egg in water will increase in mass and the egg in corn syrup will decrease.
