During the Covid shutdown, I created a special time for my Kindergarten students called "Bedtime Stories with Mrs. Newman". It was a virtual meeting from 6:30 - 7pm where students didn't have to be stressed about learning math, reading or writing through a screen. It was just a time for them to snuggle up with their jammies and stuffed animals and watch/listen to me read a few bedtime stories. It was a wonderful way for us to connect. Parents loved it as well! I will be doing this again in the fall and need new books that address the important issues happening in our world right now. Thank you so much!
