Distance learning presents challenges to all students and these unique students require some unique tools and materials to help them be successful in art. With a wide range of tactile sensitivities and motor abilities within a group of youth, diverse materials are required. Unfortunately, it is not necessarily possible for families to provide these materials. The NAHS art budget for consumable materials has to be stretched extremely thin to provide both tools and consumable materials to all students. The students of the Norristown Area High School Adapted Art class deserve meaningful and hands-on experiences during this new virtual setting.
