I'm an incoming 3rd Grade ELA and Social Studies teacher. I'm committed to providing my students, who are mostly Black and Brown, with access to literature and materials that honor their histories and inspire their futures. It is critical that my students read books where they can see themselves represented in a positive and powerful light. We will use the above books during our guided and independent reading activities. I will use the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to purchase culturally relevant and inclusive lessons and digital assets that fit my students unique needs. Please help me in creating a classroom environment where my students don't just survive, but thrive.
